The Process
Car photography can be a tricky art form, but with our giant 20′ x 20′ overhead softbox we’re able to create a nice pool of soft light. It’s this quality of light that’s kind to the curves and the natural shininess of a vehicle’s exterior. The pathway to delivering final photos for each of these cars begins capturing the best possible image.
One of the key pieces of equipment we used was a lens mounted polarizing filter. This variable filter gave us the ability to reduce the amount of reflection on the vehicle. Once shooting was over, Lightroom and Photoshop allowed us to basic color correct the photos and create composites of various images.
