Elevating Black Designers with Stephen Curry

The Process

After connecting with IMG on the possible partnership, we knew this project was a great fit for us. The theme of underrepresentation really resonated with our team, and we jumped at the opportunity to help tell others’ stories about making it in their industry. We knew we had the right resources- the crew, the studio, the vision- to make it all happen in only a few weeks time, too. Working with so many key stakeholders can sometimes be challenging, but everyone involved was on the same page and helped drive the creative forward. We were able to create a stylized “fashion studio” here at Mac House and hosted the GOAT, Stephen Curry, along with three amazing and talented designers: Keith Herron, Des Pierrot, and Paul Richards.

The Result

We created three short videos as part of Rakuten’s overarching campaign to shed some light and background on each designer. Each video went live in tandem with Stephen rocking a tunnel look from each designer.
